Plant Description: This plant is a perennial herb that produces a fuzzy-haired, hollow stem that grows to around 3 ft tall. Slender goldenbanner has lupine-like spires of sunny yellow pea-like flowers that are held up above bunches of rich-green, compound leaves. Each leaf has three leaflets as well as stipules that look like leaflets. The fruit is a leathery legume pod containing the seeds.

This flower resembles Lupine without being susceptible to powdery mildew. This species is rhizomatous so you will get some spread, but it is not aggressive.
