Plant Description: Mad Dog (also commonly called Blue Skullcap) is a medicinal native herb in the mint family with opposite leaves and one sides blue-purple flowers that look similar to tiny snapdragons. Grows in very damp locations and tolerates some shade. Used medicinally for nervous system support and as a mild sedative in teas and tinctures.
