Plant Description: This plant grows in an upright rounded form, staying more compact than Cornus sericea ssp. sericea. Stems are bright yellow throughout the winter turning to yellow-green when the leaves emerge. Leaves are more yellow green than other varieties, oval with deeply indented veination and turn red to orange in the fall. Flowers appear in flat showy clusters with individual flowers creamy white and tiny. Berry-like fruit ripens into white.

Tolerates seasonal flooding.
