This is an easy wild onion to grow. Smaller in stature, it’s great in front borders, rock gardens, and mixed in meadowscapes. Lovely planted in drifts. Numerous white to pink starry flowers appear in clusters atop straight stems. Very thin, chive-like, foliage fades as blooming begins. A wonderful nectar source for pollinators and is a key species for Fenders Blue butterfly. Does well in clay.
