Adorable, compact annual lupine. Blooms early in spring attracting small bees. This species is very adaptable and suited to very dry conditions as well as areas with clay soils.

  • Water: very dry to moist

  • Sun: full sun to partial shade

  • Bloom time: variable depending on sowing time, as early as March.

  • Direct sowing: sow in spring or fall.

  • Growing transplants: Seeds are not dormant, but sometimes benefit from scarifying. Seeds germinate in a variety of temperatures (50-70 degrees).
