Plant Description: A stunning native perennial common to the Columbia basin where conditions are dry, sunny, and well draining. This species grows a light green mat with multiple upright leafless stems around 1-2 feet tall. Dozens of tiny, bright pink/magenta flowers cluster in brackets at the end of each stem. Spreads slowly by a rhizome.

Ecological Function: This species grows best in sunny, dry, and rocky conditions where soil drains well. We reccomend this plant for xerscaping, dry meadows, well draining retaining walls, and berms. This will attract a wide variety of native bees and pollinators.
