Plant Description: A powerhouse pollinator plant, native bees and pollinators love this native annual. A tightly coiled hairy stem that resembles a fiddle with deep yellow-orange flowers lining the coil. Reseeds well.

Landscape Use and Ecological Function: This species most commonly grows in oak-pine ecosystems. We recommend planting in upland, well draining, sunny locations like oak woodlands restoration, front yard dry meadows or prairies, and in your pollinator garden. Attracts native bees, hover flies, and birds.
