Plant Description: Spike Bentgrass (also known as Pacific bentgrass) is an abundant and long-lasting grass, typically growing between one and three feet tall. It features elongated and flat leaves, reaching up to 12 inches in length, and is densely packed with small spikelets.

While primarily propagated through seed, it can also spread through rhizomes. This type of grass can be found in various plant habitats and is a valuable source of food for livestock, and it is native to the western U.S from Texas to the Pacific coast.
