Plant Description: Cluster of upright stems, leaves. Leaves narrowly oval to egg-shaped, edges wavy or toothed, 1–3 in., often hairy. Flower bright yellow, lower 3 petals with maroon veins. The 2 side petals are bearded. The upper 2 petal backs often change to maroon when mature. Has leaves on stem almost as wide as long, regularly toothed. The wide base of the leaf blade narrows suddenly.
