Plant Description: A spreading, mat forming sedum native to the Willamette Valley from British Columbia to Northern California. a very low growing evergreen sedum with tall, bright yellow flowers. Foliage can grow from bright green to deep red depending. 

Sedum divergens leaves are considered edible in small quantities before the plant flowers and has been historically eaten raw or with sugar and grease by First Nations People. *NEVER CONSUME PLANTS WITHOUT PROPER ID*

It best grows in sunny locations with rocky, well draining soil like a rocky or gravel slope. Great for soil stabilizing and erosion control. Attracts butterflies and caterpillars.
