(75-90 days) "Gorgeous, early, dark red cabbage with dense, compact heads. Good crunchy and juicy texture. Outer leaves have a lovely silver shimmer that seems to deter aphids, helping this variety to perform well even under high summer temperatures that typically stress out other Brassicas. A good selection for early and main season cropping, does best when planted out by mid-June but can be planted until mid-July for full sized heads. A modern, public domain, open pollinated variety maintained by Kultursaat biodynamic seed initiative in Germany.
Seed produced by Avoca in Corvallis, Oregon.
As required by the Oregon Department of Agriculture and the Washington Crucifer Quarantine, all Brassica family seed lots have been tested and found negative for blackleg (Phoma lingam) by an approved, certified lab."
