Plant Description: A late season blooming white aster species. Leaves are slightly serrated and grows up to around 3 feet tall with branches of white flowers. Spread readily and often grows after disturbances. 

  • Height: 2-4 ft

  • Watering needs: regular, can tolerate dry summers once established

  • Sun needs: sun-part shade

  • Soil needs: well draining

  • Bloom Time: Summer-Fall

Landscape Use and Ecological Function: An excellent species for open areas, meadowscaping, and open woodlands. Attracts a wide variety of pollinators and beneficial insects.
