Plant Description: A mix of plants idea for dappled shade, this 6 pack is a simple starter pack for dry to semi-moist shade. We recommend this for for woodland gardens.
Luzula comosa: Red-green round stems with fine hairs with brown inflorescence clusters. Soft and spreads lightly, thrives in partial shade.
Tellima grandiflora: This plant is a clump forming perennial with hairy, glandular stems and round to heart shaped basal leaves. Leaves have coarsely toothed margins and very shallow lobes. Fragrant flowers are loosely arranged on long spikes that rise above the tufts of leaves. As many as 10-35 individual flowers bloom on each stalk.
Viola praemorsa: Cluster of upright stems, leaves. Leaves narrowly oval to egg-shaped, edges wavy or toothed, 1–3 in., often hairy. Flower bright yellow, lower 3 petals with maroon veins. The 2 side petals are bearded. The upper 2 petal backs often change to maroon when mature. Has leaves on stem almost as wide as long, regularly toothed.
