An elegant, stunning wildflower with upright stems adorned with substantial, silvery, velvet-soft leaves. Large, roundish flower clusters sport pastel pink and white, star-like flowers that are remarkably fragrant. It is a nectar source for butterflies and a critical host plant for our native western Monarch butterfly caterpillar. Plants spread by rhizomes and eventually form large, multi-stemmed clumps. Deer resistant. Deciduous.
