Slow growing, perennial bunchgrass. Great companion plant for wildflowers, does not spread by rhizomes.

  • Direct sowing: Sow in fall. Seeds are dormant and need 60-90 days of cold moist chilling before seeds will germinate. Seeds germinate in spring.
  • Growing transplants: Sown into containers and place outside over winter or in a refrigerator (35-40 degrees) for 60-90 days.
