Earrings by Beads and Sundry

Nat started beading at the age of 10, on a rickety loom made from two-
by-fours, and by using found objects and other people’s castoff beads
and buttons. Beads became a lifetime occasional hobby inspired by
what trinkets she found that month, and she collects beads like a magpie
collects shiny prizes.
At the start of the pandemic, beading became a more regular creative
outlet, and the enthusiastic staff at Nat’s local coffee shop cheered her

on into selling her beads to others.
She lives in Portland, travels Oregon, and searches for inspiration in nature, farmer’s markets,
and art in the wild.
