Whorls of densely tufted, bright green foliage with white tips grow on stems branched nearly to the base. Evergreen. Dries into curled balls.
Club mosses are vascular plants that in their natural habitats, form creeping or scrambling clumps in deep shade. As such, selaginellas thrive in very humid environments away from any direct natural light. Some bright indirect light can be helpful to maintain the vivid color of the plant.
