'Maroon' is a cultivar of a naturally occurring hybrid of Sarracenia purpurea and S. rubra. Pitchers are quite red and stout. Adult pitchers are approximately 8-12 inches.

Type of Plant: Outdoor perennial for container growing.
Height: 8-12 inches.
Sunlight: Full sun during the growing season.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Winter: Dormant. Minimal protection in USDA zones 7-9. Mulch in colder regions.
