Fishtail palms make dramatic indoor plants due to their size and sweeping foliage. They have fan-like, rough-edged foliage that looks like a fish tail fin. these fast-growing plants can grow up to one or two feet each year, but don’t need regular pruning due to their growth habit. Caryotas are clump-forming palms that appreciate bright light, warm temperatures, and consistently moist soil.
