Description: Although the Philodendron micans has the typical heart-shaped leaves, this species is set apart by the velvety surface of the leaves. The leaves have a greenish-purplish finish with a bit of a shimmer. The surface of the leaves is usually deep green, while the underside is an eggplant purple.
