Raphanus sativus is a great cover crop for drilling into clay soils. Annual
brassica that needs a minimum germination temperature of
of 40F and dies off at 20F. Plant by late August to allow 6
weeks of growth before first frost. Grows 18-24” above and
below ground.

Use: Improves soil porosity. Nitrogen scavenger, accumulates phosphorus & potassium
