Plant Description: Compact highbush hybrid blueberry that does great in containers and is generally evergreen. Grows 3-4' and produces mid-season crop of small tasty berries. Sunshine Blue features showy, hot pink flowers followed by dime-sized, sweet berries with a delicious tangy flavor. Sunshine Blue fruit begins ripening in mid-summer and continues over a period of about two months. 

*Special Note: The best pollinator for Blueberry 'Pink Lemonade' variety that we carry.

  • Watering needs: consistent watering, especially through fruiting season
  • Sun needs: full sun to part shade
  • Soil needs: moist, well-draining; prefers rich acidic, mulch with sawdust annually
