Known as “the finest eating strawberry in America” by the James Beard Foundation. The fruit is a deep, dark, red, with an exceptionally bold flavor. Produces juicy delicate berries meant to be enjoyed as soon as they ripen. June bearing. Marshall has been added to The Ark of Taste; see here for more info on that. More here as well!
Care: Plant in sunny location with good drainage. Make certain the crown is above the ground. Fertilize with an organic mixture of composted manure, compost and peat.
