Cold Season Figs that produce a strong 1st crop (Breba) and are hardy to Zone 6.  This fig has brown skin with an amber colored pulp. Magnolia has an ‘open eye’ which can cause the fruit to sour quickly, so it is important to pick it just before it is ripe. This is an ideal fig for canning. Magnolia will produce figs on current and last year’s growth. Likes full sun to part shade; grows 4-8′ high.
