Chilean Wineberry is native to the Patagonia region of southern Chile and Argentina and is prized for its delicious, juicy berries that have unusually high amounts of anthocyanin – higher than almost any fruit! While the berries are small, the trees produces them in abundance and they are often used to create juices, jams and wines. It is a fast-growing and lofty evergreen tree in the landscape.
Attracts bees and birds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens.
Blooms in spring and fruit ripens in late summer or early fall.
Grows10-15ft Tall and wide.
Cold hardy to 10 degrees F.
