Plant Description: A very attractive shrub, Chilean Guava produces profuse, fragrant, small white flowers followed by pretty red berries. Sweet with a sprightly, Guava-like flavor and fragrance. Fruit are delicious for fresh eating and for making jams and jellies. Makes a nice container plant and can be brought inside when severe cold threatens. Self-fertile and hardy to about 10º F, possibly lower once established.
