Pomegranate ‘Afganski’ (Punica granatum)

Gorgeous flowers followed by delicious fruit! Pomegranate seeds are high in heart-healthy fiber and vitamins C & K. The seeds and juice are full of anti-oxidants and are reputed to have anti-inflammatory properties as well. This cultivar produces bright orange-red fruit, considered to be among the sweetest among the species. It prefers full sun for best fruit production and is adaptable to almost any type of well-drained soil. Can reach up to 10-12 ft. in height and bears fruit 1-2 years after planting.
