This beauty is easy to grow and quite drought tolerant. Try to give them as much sun as you can and 18" between plants. The bees love them, especially since there are blooms present July to September. They are great for giving the immune system a boost too. Try flowers, seeds, or roots for medicinal preparations.

Suitable for: light (sandy) and medium (loamy) soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: mildly acid, neutral and basic (mildly alkaline) soils. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought.
