Come learn how to build food resilience through viable seed saving and cultivating a garden that caters to your unique space! Join us for a workshop taught by Spencer Suffling from Tanager Farm, where you will learn seed saving methods and how to promote resilient edible plants in your backyard.
Seed Saving is community food security. But the “rules” of seed saving often prevent us from participating. Adaptation Gardening (sometimes referred to as landrace method) involves radically shifting our perspective, understanding that saving seeds can be easy and empowering.
Learn about “wet” and “dry” seed saving, how to breed your own varieties, and how to allow plants to adapt to local conditions and a changing climate.
