Mizuho was introduced in the 1990s from Japan. Prized for it's very large, flavorful and sweet fruit.
An evergreen tree that is attractive in the landscape as well as cultivated for it's edible fruit! Fragrant flowers in autumn and fruits in the spring.
Ideal conditions for pollination and a mild winter is required for fruit to set and ripen. Fruit set is less common in the Northern cooler regions.
