Oregano's power to heal and preserve was well known in the ancient world. Today it is used to spice up various Italian dishes and meats. This variety imparts a mellower flavor than its intense cousin, Greek Oregano. Oregano's foliage is dark green and the blooms are pink to deep purple. Approximately 10,500 seeds per gram.
