This cilantro is grown not for the leaf, but for the copious amount of coriander seed it produces. Watch it bolt quickly and produce seed. (If you're looking for a leaf cilantro, check out our other offering — Delfino.)
If you want to grow coriander, however, this is your plant! Large seedheads dry down quickly and store in the pantry with lots of flavor to enjoy throughout the year. As a bonus, the beneficial insects go crazy for the flowers, making it worth growing as an insectary plant in its own right.
